“Domenica in concerto”, presented by the Fondazione Bertelli in Forte dei Marmi and the Francigena International Arts Festival of Altopascio. continues in February with four events held on Sunday mornings at 12 am. Ample space will be given to the violin and piano repertoire with two concerts on the 8th and 22nd The first, by the Michelangelo Lentini and Michela Spizzichino duo, is dedicated to the virtuoso repertoire of Saint Saens, Wieniawski, Paganini and Sarasate, while the second will explore intimate pieces by Debussy, Messiaen and Brahms, played by Tommaso Vannucci and Gioia Giusti.
German pianist Martin Münch performs Sonatas by Scriabin and Mozart on February 1st, while operatic transcriptions for flute and piano will be played by the Francesco Gatti (see photo) and Simone Rugani duo on 15th February.
