In April there are three concerts previewing Lucca’s Classical Music Festival, which will take place from the 8th to the 10th of May and will enliven the city’s historic centre. They start on Saturday 18th at 9 pm at the Teatro del Giglio with the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto with Massimo Quarta, conductor and violin soloist. The programme includes Paganini’s violin Concerto no 1 and Rossini overtures from Semiramide, The Barbiere di Siviglia and Guiglielmo Tell.
