The concert-giving and teaching activities of ‘Boccherini Open 2016’ continue in May with important appointments and a recording of great historical value for the city’s musical traditions. Guest star of the Institute’s open day on May 28th will be Dario Marianelli, a composer who won the Oscar Prize in 2008 for the soundtrack of the film Atonement.
On Tuesday May 17th and Wednesday, May 18th in the church of Santa Giulia (adjacent to “Boccherini”), as part of the Guitar Festival, there’s a Manuel Maria Ponce Marathon.
