MARIA PERROTTA AT PIEVE A ELICI

Ten concerts, two months of high-quality music in a breathtaking setting! In the church of St. Pantaleone, in Pieve a Elici, on the Versilia hills of Massarosa, the Chamber Music Festival of Versilia returns for the 49th time. It’s organized by the Municipality of Massarosa and the Associazione Musicale Lucchese. A programme of international guests includes Alexander Kobrin, Pietro De Maria, Sergey Krylov, the Trio di Parma, Kirill Troussov, Alexandra Troussova and Enrico Dindo. Concerts begin at 9.15 pm.
Underlining the value of the event, there’s a prestigious media partnership with Amadeus music magazine, Rai Radio 3 and Sky Classic HD.

The Pieve a Elici season closes on Sunday, August 28, with a recital by Maria Perrotta, a great international pianist, praised as a particularly communicative interpreter. She will perform Schubert’s “Grazer Fantasie” and his Sonata no. 14 in A minor D 894 op. 143, Chopin’s Berceuse in D flat major, Op. 57 and Beethoven’s Sonata no. 32 in C minor, Op. 111.
