“Cluster”, the Lucca Association for contemporary music resumes its activities, after its twelve spring season events, with the “Season of Autumn” which includes ten free events spread over two months thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca. Since its founding in 2009, the Fondazione has always supported Cluster’s activities with thirty new compositions by Cluster member composers (mostly from the Lucca province or trained in Lucca) or through exchanges with other Italian cities and the world (from Germany to Poland, ​​from Azerbaijan to the US).

On Friday, November 13th at 9.15 pm in the Oratorio of San Giuseppe by Lucca Cathedral, there’s a piano concert with Giovanni Passalia and Massimo Salotti concluding a project that has seen the two Lucca pianists play sixteen new compositions by sixteen Cluster members. This concert closes the cycle of 24 piano “Cluster” compositions from 2014 with the creation of a CD of great artistic and cultural value. The eight composers who have composed new pieces for this concert are Claudio Jose Boncompagni, Gabriele Caselli, Federico De Robertis, Massimiliano Giusti, Silvia Marchetti, Alessandro Polito Pietro Rigacci, and Massimo Salotti.
