On Sunday, January 10th at the Teatro del Giglio, at 5 pm, there’s the gala closing of the “Lucca, i giorni di Puccini” festival  with a recital by tenor José Carreras, accompanied on piano by Lorenzo Bavaj. Carreras, along with Domingo and Pavarotti, has for years represented the elite of opera arias by Puccini giving warm and sensitive interpretations.
