The concert-giving and teaching activities of ‘Boccherini Open 2016’ continue in May with important appointments and a recording of great historical value for the city’s musical traditions. Guest star of the Institute’s open day on May 28th will be Dario Marianelli, a composer who won the Oscar Prize in 2008 for the soundtrack of the film Atonement.
On Monday, May 9th , there’s a seminar called “Five centuries of choral music,” led by Giovanni Acciai.
